The University of Baltimore is live with Aeon
Virginia Beach, VA — The University of Baltimore is now live using Aeon to manage researcher requests and staff workflows for their Special Collections and Archives. Located in Baltimore, Maryland, the University of Baltimore joins more than 100 institutions currently using Aeon.
The Special Collections and Archives is a department of the RLB Library at the University of Baltimore and is comprised of collecting programs in local history and institutional records. The department serves the research needs of students, scholars, and the public. Aeon will be used to manage research requests for onsite appointments and electronic document delivery, a part of their innovative Scan on Demand service, from the archival collections. In addition, Aeon will help manage staff workflows in inventory tracking and collection management in closed stack storage.
Atlas staff provided implementation and training services to University of Baltimore staff through implementation and will continue to provide hosting and support services of their Aeon installation.
We congratulate the University of Baltimore on their successful Aeon implementation and welcome them to the Aeon Community.
