University of Toronto Becomes First Canadian Institution to Implement Aeon
Virginia Beach, VA — The University of Toronto has become the first Canadian institution to adopt Aeon, a leading software platform for request and workflow management in archives and special collections. The university joins a global network of nearly 120 institutions leveraging Aeon to streamline access and request management of rare and archival materials.
Aeon is now operational across three libraries at the University of Toronto: the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library, University of Toronto Archives and Records Management Services (UTARMS), and the E.J. Pratt Library Special Collections. This integration enables efficient management of requests, enhances researcher access to physical and digital resources, and optimizes the workflow for archivists and librarians to fulfill researcher demands.
We wish the University of Toronto congratulations on completing their implementation, and we welcome them to the Aeon Community.
