Milwaukee Public Library is now live with Aeon

Virginia Beach, VA — The Archives and Special Collections at the Milwaukee Public Library is now live using Aeon to manage reader requests and staff workflows for their archives and manuscripts. Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Milwaukee Public Library is the second public library using Aeon in production and join more than 100 institutions using Aeon.

Archives and Special Collections supports the research of manuscripts and city archives, rare books, local history, sheet music, scripts, the Great Lakes Marine Collection and digitized collections. The Archives and Special Collections will use Aeon to provide access to request materials and schedule appointments.

Atlas staff assisted Milwaukee Public Library staff to configure Aeon to present a seamless experience for their readers and support local workflows throughout the implementation process. The Archive and Special Collections at the Milwaukee Public Library will continue to receive hosting and software support from Atlas.

We wish the Milwaukee Public Library congratulations on their successful implementation project and welcome them to the Aeon Community.
