Boston Public Library is now live with Aeon
Virginia Beach, VA — The Boston Public Library is now ****live using Aeon to manage reader requests and staff workflows for their Archives, Arts, and Rare Books & Manuscripts collections. Located in Boston, Massachusetts, the Boston Public Library is the third public library and join more than 100 institutions currently using Aeon in production.
One of only two public libraries in the United States that are members of the Association of Research Libraries, the Boston Public Library holds extensive special collections in a wide variety of subjects and formats that includes: Architectural Plans & Drawings, Fine Arts, Manuscripts & Archives, Maps, Music, Newspapers, Photographs, Prints & Drawings, and Rare Books. Atlas staff assisted Boston Public Library staff to configure Aeon to present a seamless experience for their readers and support local workflows throughout the implementation process. The Boston Public Library will continue to receive hosting and software support from Atlas.
