The New York Public Library has Completed Implementation of 11 Reading Rooms in Aeon
Virginia Beach, VA — Atlas Systems is proud to recognize The New York Public Library (NYPL) for providing automated service to its patrons through the use of Aeon workflow management software. Atlas developed Aeon to help special collections libraries and archives find, manage, store, protect, and increase the visibility of their valuable resources. Today more than 100 institutions, large and small, use Aeon to benefit their staff, faculty, and researchers. We applaud the Library for implementing the software, which will support the quality of service provided by its dedicated staff.
Over 18,000 users have registered for Aeon accounts since its implementation by the Library in May 2021. There have been approximately 25,000 research visits from more than 11,000 of the registered users, with over 100,000 requests for collection materials received.
