Atlas Expands Management Team to Strengthen Partnerships and Technology Infrastructure
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – November 2, 2016 – Atlas Systems, the leading provider of time-saving solutions for libraries, special collections, and archives, announced today two management changes that will strengthen the technology base of the company and its forward-thinking approach to partnerships.
Dustin Stokes, formerly Development Team Leader and Partner Solutions Manager, now joins the Atlas management team as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role he will formally take over the leadership of the development team and continue to lead Atlas’s focus on working with external partners.
Curtis Poston, currently Atlas CTO, assumes the newly-created position of Chief Technology Innovation Officer.
In announcing these management changes, Atlas President and CEO M. Jason Glover said, “As Chief Technology Innovation Officer, Curtis will focus on high-level strategy for internal and external system structure. Dustin and Curtis are an outstanding team and over the last few years have really operated in these roles. It is a logical progression to formalize the roles and bring Dustin onto the management team.”
According to Poston, “Dustin’s growth and leadership of the development team–as well as his work expanding and strengthening our partner relationships–has allowed me over the past few years to work to refine and strategize the future of our software platforms. Our focus, both internally and externally, is on moving applications to the cloud. Formalizing Dustin’s role and bringing him onto the management team are a natural extension of the growth of the dev team and Atlas as a whole.”
