Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compatibility

ILLiad can use a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database when the compatibility level for the database is set to SQL Server 2000 (80). If performing a new ILLiad installation, the compatibility level can be changed after the ILLiad server installation application has run.

To set the compatibility level in SQL Server 2005, perform the following:

  1. Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  2. Select your ILLiad database (i.e. ILLData)
  3. Right-click the database and select Properties
  4. Select Options from the Select a page list on the left side of the window
  5. Change Compatibility level to SQL Server 2000 (80)
  6. Click OK to save the setting and close the properties window
