SUMMARY

The newest version of McAfee VirusScan (8.0) includes a firewall feature intended to block mass-mailing email worms. This feature will also block email sent by the ILLiad client (with this particular error message - E-Mail Not Sent! Error 10053), unless you add the ILLiadClient.exe executable to an exceptions list in the program for each client machine.

Other antivirus programs may have similar exception needs.
