Conference Hotels
The main conference hotel is the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
The Courtyard by Marriott Oceanfront South and Oceanfront Inn are also accepting reservations for conference attendees.
The rates for each hotel are as follows:
- Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront – $129, rate good through Monday, February 20th
- Courtyard Marriott South – $104, rate good through Monday, February 20th
- Oceanfront Inn – $89, rate good through Monday, February 20th
Bus Service
Your registration fee includes transportation from the Norfolk International Airport (ORF) to the conference hotels and back.

Shuttle buses depart outside of door 1 in baggage claim every 45 minutes.

Transportation from Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront to Norfolk International Airport (ORF)
When you arrive at the airport on Tuesday or Wednesday, you will be asked by the folks at the conference transportation desk what your return plans are for Friday or Saturday and sign you up for the correct return shuttle.
Bus Service to Restaurants
Bus service will be provided on Wednesday and Thursday nights along the Virginia Beach boardwalk allowing access to many fine restaurants.
Airport
Norfolk International Aiport (ORF) is the closest airport to Virginia Beach.
NOTE: Southwest Airlines serves the Norfolk International Airport (ORF).
Southwest flights are not listed in travel aggregators such as Travelocity, Expedia, or Orbitz.You can only book Southwest Airlines flights on their website, www.southwest.com .
Meals and Events
The full conference kicks off Wednesday March 21 with ILLiad’s 15th Birthday Bash from 6:00-9:00pm. Mingle with fellow conference attendees, enjoy an array of fantastic desserts, and celebrate the first 15 years of ILLiad.
Your conference registration includes a continental breakfast and plated lunch on Thursday as well as a breakfast buffet on Friday. Menus will be posted when available. You will be able to note dietary concerns on the registration site when you register for the conference.

There are lots of great places to eat on the Virginia Beach boardwalk. Atlas will be providing a bus on Wednesday and Thursday evening from 4:30pm until 10:30pm that will make trips up and down the boardwalk area with stops close to all of the following restaurants:
