Do you know someone fairly new to the ILL or e-reserves world who would like to attend the 2015 ALA Annual Conference in San Francisco (maybe even yourself)?
Atlas Systems works with RUSA, a division of ALA, to present an annual award in the amount of $1,250 to fund travel expenses associated with attending ALA’s annual conference. Any library practitioner who has been working in the field of resource sharing for less than two years and who has daily, hands-on experience in the areas of ILL borrowing or lending, document delivery, electronic reserves, or material delivery is eligible for the award. You do not need to have a library degree or be a member of ALA to apply. Even if you have previous experience in other aspects of librarianship as long as you’re new to resource sharing then you are eligible to apply for this award. Nominees do not need to attend the ALA Midwinter Meeting to be considered for this award. Self-nominations are encouraged.
For more information and to apply, please complete the form at http://www.ala.org/rusa/awards/mentoring
Nominations must be received by 5 PM Central on December 14, 2014.
